How does it work?
In response to COVID-19, The Animal Hospital of Cambridge introduced telemedicine to support patients from the comfort and safety of home. As businesses begin to reopen, we've decided to maintain telemedicine as a valued-added service we can provide.
Telemedicine allows a member of our professional veterinary team to remotely assess and diagnose medical concerns, and prescribe medications and treatments. Only when needed (i.e.: for blood work) will we triage you into the clinic, and in that case, your telemedicine fee will be deducted from your in-clinic invoice.
For non urgent concerns (see a detailed list below), we suggest you begin with a telemedicine exam. Connect with us via phone, text, or video chat - the choice is yours. There is a $50 flat fee per appointment (unless you need a medication refill - in that case, the appointment is $25), and appointments are approximately 15 minutes in length.
If you have questions or concerns, please email or call our telemedicine support directly at info@ahoctelemedicine.ca or 519-624-9760.
